Long lines formed early at the Lake Casitas Recreation Club, for the 31st Annual Ojai Wine Festival presented by the Rotary Club of Ojai-West.

Guests brought their lawn chairs in front of the stage where live music by Area 51 entertained. It was a full day to party and raise money for the Rotary Club of Ojai West.

VIP ticket holders were greeted with champagne from Barefoot Wine and Bubbly then treated to a selection of delicious Hors D’Oeurvres from local restaurants Bj’s in Oxnard, Sakura and Mandala in Ojai under the VIP tent.

More than 61 wineries were busy pouring samples of their finest into the glasses of 5,000 plus attendees. This year, there were a number of new wineries, breweries and crafts. There was definitely something for everyone to enjoy!

“Every year this event gets bigger and bigger,” said Executive Director Angela May. “We’ve seen an increase in the number of micro-breweries and specialty craft booths as well.”

Since its inception the Ojai Wine Festival has raised over $1,070,000.00. All net proceeds from The Ojai Wine Festival will go to aid many important Rotary Community Service Projects in particular; science based field trips for elementary school students on the Rotary Floating Classroom.
