VISITORS are invited to the third annual Owl Festival, vialis 40mg a free family event, on Sunday, April 13, from 11 am to 3 pm at the historic Olivas Adobe, located at 4200 Olivas Park Drive in Ventura.

LIVE RAPTORS: In honor of the resident owls, The Ojai Raptor Society will bring live owls and hawks for visitors to see and learn about, with a program starting at 1pm. Docents will display an exhibit of owl pellets and related items from the adobe’s own birds.

ART & GIFTS: The Channel Islands Gourd Society will display members’ gorgeous artistic creations and offer demonstrations of how they are created; some items will be for sale. And visit the courtyard display from the gift shop of owl related gifts and souvenirs for sale.

CRAFTS FOR KIDS: Olivas Adobe Junior Docents will assist children and adults in the creation of pinecone owls at the craft table for visitors to take home.

MUSIC: Throughout the day Leif Engeswick plays his “Book Organ,” a magnificent vintage instrument.

TOURS: Olivas Adobe Historic Interpreters, who present the Owl Festival, will offer costumed docent-led tours during the event, as they do every weekend, between 11 am and 3 pm. Trained docents take you back in time to bygone days of life at the adobe.
