Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley Announce Newest Member to Board of Governors

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley is pleased to announce a new member to its Board of Governors, Alissa Morton.

Morton worked at Morton Capital Management for 28 years.  During that time, she volunteered at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley.  In 2015, she decided to leave the company and was able to give her full attention to the Boys & Girls Clubs.

Besides the Boys & Girls Clubs, Morton has also served as a coach for AYSO soccer and AYBA, Agoura Basketball.

“Kids and their futures are our future, and I want to know I play a positive role in that,” stated Alissa Morton.  “Being on the Board of Governors is incredibly meaningful to me for many reasons, but mostly because my father, Lon Morton, was so involved in helping kids be the best they can be,” she continued.  “I can make a difference too and I’m ready to do that,” she added.

Morton has lived in the Conejo Valley for 25 years and has 11-year-old twin boys, Parker and Preston.
