During this four month operation, SED detectives conducted several investigations that resulted  in the seizure of eight rifles, including one AK-47 assault rifle, seven handguns, and over four hundred rounds of ammunition. In addition to the illegally possessed firearms, SED detectives seized four ounces of methamphetamine, varying amounts of heroin, cocaine and prescription medication possessed for the purpose of sales, stolen property, and recovered one stolen  vehicle. Investigators also seized about $2500 in U.S. currency that is believed to be the result of illegal activities.
