The Climate Science Special Report

There has been much controversy about the U.S. Global Change Research Program’s draft quadrennial Climate Science Special Report submitted by the Obama administration in its final days.

Some have objected that it wasn’t released for examination and comments. But it turns out that it was made available online months ago. We requested, but haven’t received it, so, we’ll link to the one on the NY Times.

It is likely that the Trump administration and dissenting scientists, will want to weigh in on this, so we may see some very different conclusions. It would be interesting to have two versions, then watch an ensuing REAL debate to help hash out the truth, since both sides have accused the other of bending the facts and conclusions.

When there is such marked disagreement, even among climate scientists, on things such as the assertions below, from the report’s executive summary, then a real, thorough and public debate is mandatory ….

    1) How and where was this data collected?
    2) who collected this data, and have they ever misinformed the public in the past?
