Community members may take just one class or all of them.  Space is limited so pre-registration is encouraged to ensure a seat in the classes.  To register, call 385-7717.  Spanish speakers may call 385-7722.

“We are very excited for this dynamic event.  This is an opportunity for our residents to get some basic disaster training from members of their own community who have graduated from the Community Emergency Response Team program along with members of our Fire Department.  Participants who attend all of the classes will gain knowledge about the specific hazards in our city as well as how to prepare and respond to them,” said Susan Duenas the City’s Disaster Preparedness Coordinator.

For more information, call 385-7717 or 385-7722 (Spanish).
