healing times; font-size: 16pt;”>The City of Thousand Oaks cordially invites the public to help celebrate its 50th Anniversary, sick on an anniversary year that culminates on the actual day of incorporation, October 7, 2014.

The City has developed a program to commemorate the days’ events. Starting in the morning, the public is invited to an open house at City Hall where tours will take place between 9 am and 1 pm.

Later in the evening, the City will host a reception from 6 pm to 8 pm inside the Kavli Theatre Lobby. A Time Capsule dedication ceremony will also take place at 7 pm inside the Kavil Theatre. The City’s “Roots of Our Lives” time capsule will be on display, and the City will recognize the “Guardians of the Time Capsule,” as well as induct new guardians nominated from local schools.
