” What we want to get across today is that the MHSA has undoubtedly increased the potential for more culturally competent services to be provided to racial and ethnic communities and for disparities to be reduced across the state.  However, there is very little evidence in the way of formal studies or evaluations regarding whether the MHSA has actually reduced disparities or increased culturally competent services.”  Stacie Hiramoto, Director REMHDCO
