The meeting will include a facilitated exercise so all participants can contribute their ideas and feedback. Attendees will work in small groups allowing property owners, neighbors, realtors, property management companies and the public at large to work together to identify issues and solutions for our community.  Gathering broad input will help give consideration of all of the issues and assist in defining a range of possible solutions. Input collected from the public will be compiled and posted on the City’s website.

In September, the City Council directed staff to engage various stakeholders and the community to review and consider possible changes to the short-term vacation rental ordinance and related policies. City staff expects to hold an additional community meeting prior to making recommendations to the City Council on this matter in the spring.
