    Conejo Valley Chamber’s Economic Forecast Features Local University Experts

    Westlake Village, CA The Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce hosts their annual Regional Economic Forecast on Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 7:00-9:00 a.m. at California Lutheran University’s Lundring Events Center. The program will start promptly at 7:30 a.m.

    “This timely economic update brings you the best information from three leading universities. Economists from  California Lutheran University’s Lundring Events Center, Pepperdine and Cal State Channel Islands will all be on hand to share valuable information for you and your business.  Our economy is more fluid than it’s ever been and we invite you to hear what these experts think you need to know” said Jill Lederer President/CEOof the Chamber.

     The event will also feature presentations by the mayors of Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village and Agoura Hills. These brief economic presentations will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Margie Cochrane, Regional Publisher of Ventura County Star.

    Economic expert panel will include:

    • Dr. Craig Everett, Ph.D – Pepperdine University
      Assistant Professor of Finance & Director, Pepperdine Private Capital Markets Project
    • Bill Watkins, Ph.D.California Lutheran University
      Associate Professor of Economics and Executive Director for the Center of Economic Research and Forecasting
    • Jared Barton, Ph.D – California State University Channel Islands
      Assistant Professor of Economics

    Pre-sale tickets for this event are $40 per person and includes a hot breakfast buffet. Tickets are available online at www.conejochamber.org through Tuesday, April 22. Thereafter, tickets will be $50 at the door.
