HEALTH CLASSIC HERB WALK AND SLIDESHOW TALK ON SATURDAY, JUNE 3

Ojai native plant guide Lanny Kaufer will join the faculty of the 25th Annual Health Classic at the beautiful La Casa De Maria Retreat Center in Montecito on Saturday, June 3, from 11:30 a.m.to 1:30 p.m. His program will consist of an Herb Walk on the neighboring San Ysidro Trail followed by a slideshow talk about the edible and medicinal plants to be found in the Santa Barbara foothills and mountains. 

Health Classic enrollees can attend any or all of the classes offered over the four days from June 1-4, including Kaufer’s. By special arrangement, the general public also is invited to attend Kaufer’s presentation for a fee of $25 without enrolling in the entire event. Those who attend his walk and talk are invited to stay for a delicious, gourmet vegetarian organic lunch for an additional $12. Parking is free for all participants.
