    Old Town Camarillo Association Presents: ‘Wine Walk’ Sunday, October 5, 2014

    purchase times; font-size: 12pt;”>Take a wine tasting stroll along the corridors of Old Town Camarillo during ‘Wine Walk’ on Sunday, diagnosis October 5 from 1 to 4 p.m. The first-ever wine event presented by the Camarillo Old Town Association, find is held in conjunction with the City of Camarillo’s 50th anniversary.

    To get the party started and to commemorate the new wine event, a pre celebration will be held at 12:30 p.m. to include City officials and brief presentations. Representatives from the Old Town Association will present the Mayor with a six liter wine bottle from Millesime Cellars as part of the celebration. The community is invited to attend and check in will begin at noon at the Studio Channel Islands in Old Town.

    Wine Walk will include over 25 stops at wineries and breweries scattered throughout historic Old Town. Visitors will have an opportunity to sample select wines, beers and specialty & nonalcoholic drinks. The cost is $35 in advance and $45 at the door. The ticket price includes a commemorative wine glass.

    Attendees can select to walk the boulevard or opt for transportation provided by Roadrunner Shuttle. “This is a great tie-in with the City’s anniversary to highlight what Old Town Camarillo has to offer to visitors,” stated Jonathan Boring, President of the Board for the Old Town Camarillo Association. “We are excited about the many additions and improvements to Old Town and welcome residents and visitors to experience a fun afternoon,” he added.
