Irwin represents the largest immigrant community in Ventura County, but is not yet supporting SB54. The California Values Act would make us the nation’s first sanctuary state, banning immigration enforcement at California public schools, hospitals, libraries and courthouses and drawing a clear line between our local police and federal immigration agents.
