Just a short note to remind you of the next meeting of the VCCAA. This Thursday, purchase July 23rd at the Junkyard Cafe, 2585 Cochran, Simi Valley, CA. Dinner-6pm – General Meeting 7pm
There will be a recap of the progress across Ventura in organizing groups in each city. All the count-wide folks that I have emailed and met are welcome to join us.
There will be a presentation & discussion of City Council issues.
Ron Lyons, our web-site guy will there to discuss the VCCAA.com web-site and the individual city “Home Pages”. Take a look at the site before the meeting and bring your questions and suggestions.

Now is time that the citizens of Ventura County take back control of their cities!
- The Ventura County Conservative Action Alliance web-site is developing. Links to all Ventura County cities are available, plus our calendar of upcoming events, is available and waiting for input. We need links to other conservative organizations, publications, conservative newsletters and other factual information to help fellow conservatives become the best informed citizens in the county and more importantly……“effective activists”.
- Activities such as a VCCAA Discussion Forum and an E-mail – newsletter sign up web page have been added.
- Individual comments will be accepted into their city’s e-mail address for collation into the web page.
- Discuss website communication plan
- Comments are solicited through the Discussion Forum
- City council discussion
- Common Core discussion: Federal control of our schools; removing parent and local control from school. Parents and concerned citizens are encouraged to participate in local activities fighting Common Core. This is shocking stuff for those with young children.
- Discuss conservative actions and plans for implementation of same.
- Discussion on higher and higher taxes and user fees
- Suggestions, corrections and future tasks
