    First Annual “Inspiring Women –A Female Entrepreneur Forum on Digital Marketing”

    September 11, 2018 Camarillo, CA – For the first time in its forty plus year history, SCORE Ventura County, is hosting their first female business forum. The Free, no charge event will be held September 26, 2018 from 5:30 pm-8:30 pm at the Camarillo Library, located at 4101 Los Posas Rd, Camarillo, 93010.

    Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin, will give opening remarks and will be introducing the panelists. The panel includes three highly successful female entrepreneurs who will share their expertise on the current digital media climate. There will be a Q&A portion, as well as networking opportunities, a resource fair, plus complimentary refreshments. Learn about branding, blogging, email marketing, LinkedIn, social media, and more.

    PRESENTERS include…

    Merri Jill FinstromChief Creative Officer of Hutdogs – MJ Finstrom specialize in the Art of Promotion. She has over 28 years of experience working in creative services and marketing helping businesses, non-profits and community outreach professionals.  She owns HUTdogs with her business partner and brother, David. They manage several email and social media campaigns and are known for their creative ideas. MJ constantly studies the ever-evolving world of marketing and enjoys sharing what she learns with others.

    Dr. Veronica GuerreroCLU, Associate Dean of Undergraduate studies, School of Management– Veronica has over 15 years of Marketing Communications experience in the technology industry. As a Marketing Director for KPMG Consulting, Veronica was responsible for strategic marketing initiatives with over 40 external alliance organizations including Oracle, SAP, Microsoft and Cisco Systems and served on the marketing leadership team during the re-branding of the consulting organization.  She has provided consulting to entrepreneurs regarding brand position and strategic marketing plans.

    Dr. Rose Hayden-SmithEditor of University of California Food Observer – Dr. Hayden-Smith is an author, academic and activist for a sustainable food system. She is the founding editor/curator of the UC Food Observer blog, which was launched in 2015 as part of the University of California’s Global Food Initiative. She received a UC Star Award for her work on this digital platform and was was named NAWBOVC’s Education Advocate of the Year for 2018

    SCORE Ventura County is a nonprofit resource partner of the Small Business Administration (SBA), that offers free mentoring, low cost workshops, and business education to anyone interested.
