Grant applications available through Sept. 30, 2016 for organizations that provide services to seniors
story arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;”>Organizations that provide services to seniors in the Oxnard area can apply for grant funding through Friday, Sept. 30, 2016. A total of $44,600 in grants is available for next calendar year.
Applications can be picked up at the Senior Services Office at Wilson Park, 350 N. C St., or downloaded on the City’s website at www.oxnard.org/recreation/senior-services/senior-services-grant-2016.
Completed applications must be submitted to the Senior Services Office no later than 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30.
The Senior Services Commission will review the applications and forward its recommendations to the Oxnard City Council for final review and approval. Grants are expected to be awarded in late December. The grant funding is provided by the City of Oxnard through the Senior Services Commission.
