Heather Locklear Could Face Charges For Allegedly Assaulting First Responder

By Jena Greene | Reporter

Heather Locklear could be under legal fire for allegedly attacking an EMT.

Locklear was arrested last month after police responded to her house for what one of her family members called a domestic disturbance. When they arrived on scene, Locklear rushed at the EMT and started attacking her. (RELATED: Heather Locklear Hospitalized For Possible Overdose Just Hours After Arrest)

The unnamed female EMT suffered several injuries, including head and neck injuries which have prevented her from returning to work. She’s been reassigned to a desk job while she recovers. (RELATED: Heather Locklear Arrested Days After Hospital Release. Here’s What We Know)

And while Locklear may face charges in criminal court for misdemeanor battery, she also has to worry about the EMT taking legal action for her injuries.

TMZ reports that the victim recently hired personal injury lawyer Kevin Flahavan to represent her in a case against Locklear.

“Our sources say the EMT not only wants money for medical bills and pain and suffering … but also some cash for emotional abuse after allegedly being verbally abused by Heather,” TMZ reports.

Not much else is known about the case beyond its existence, and it’s unclear how much money the EMT might be seeking.
