House Veterans Affairs Committee Vice Chairman Gus Bilirakis Backs Antonio Sabato Jr. for Congress

Congressman Bilirakis Calls Sabato the Solution to Julia Brownley’s Absenteeism

Ventura, CA – Congressional Candidate Antonio Sabàto Jr., received an official endorsement from Vice Chair on Veterans’ Affairs Committee Rep. Gus Bilirakis, (R-FL). Bilirakis affirms that Antonio Sabàto Jr., unlike current Rep. Julia Brownley (D), will serve the needs of the 26th Congressional District to the best of his abilities and without a doubt honor the brave men and women in uniform who have served our country to defend our nation and its freedoms.

“I stand on the principles of caring for our veterans and Julia Brownley, although she has disclosed previously, given our community empty promises and lack of actions,” said Sabàto Jr. “For this reason, I’m truly grateful to have the support of Gus Bilirakis who consistently advocates on behalf of veterans and their families in the United States Congress.”

Representative Gus Bilirakis is also co-chair of the Military Veterans Caucus and chairman of the Republican Policy Committee Veterans’ Affairs Task Force. In the 112th Congress, Bilirakis championed two pieces of legislation that signed into law; H.R. 4057, the Improving Transparency of Education Opportunities for Veterans Act, as well as S. 3202, the Dignified Burial of Veterans Act. Bilirakis worked throughout his tenure in Congress to ensure veterans receive quality and timely services while promoting transparency throughout the Veterans’ Affairs.

“Despite big spending initiatives which are a hallmark of typical California representation, the Golden State has the highest poverty rate in the nation. It’s time for an innovative and bold leader who can turn distressed communities around,” said Bilirakis. “Antonio’s boundless energy is what’s needed. His deep and abiding compassion for Veterans, in particular, will result in the best care for our true American heroes,” said Bilirakis.

Antonio Sabàto Jr. is most known for his roles in General Hospital and Melrose Place, and more recently moved forward to successful entrepreneurial endeavors. A naturalized citizen, he grew up in Los Angeles and attended public schools. He is currently residing in Westlake Village and spends his free time with his three beautiful children.

One Response to House Veterans Affairs Committee Vice Chairman Gus Bilirakis Backs Antonio Sabato Jr. for Congress

Gus Bilirakis knows something I don’t. Sabato does not stand out as as a conservative pillar in the community. If you’re an actor participating in porn you’re not a very good actor. Therefore you’re not a very good candidate to represent conservatives in Ca. We will have a hard enough time defeating Brownley without the negative baggage Sabato carries.
