It is a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors. Millions of volunteers from across the nation will unite in a common mission to improve the lives of others on Make A Difference Day; show that anyone – regardless of age, location or resources – can accomplish amazing things when they take on the problems they see in their community.

Here in the City of Oxnard, in our very own Plaza Park,500 South C Street, we will be having various organizations that need volunteers from groups like yours.

Your group participation will make possible not only to connect the community with your services but also to connect our youth with civic engagement in our community and help make our organizations stronger and strive to better serve those in need.
