Metrolink to Operate Sunday Schedule on Memorial Day

Metrolink announced it will operate its Sunday schedule on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27 so travelers can visit relatives or see attractions throughout Southern California. The $10 Holiday ticket is available allowing for unlimited rides throughout the system for the day.

The Memorial Day schedule includes service on the Antelope Valley, San Bernardino, Orange County, Inland Empire-Orange County and the 91/Perris Valley lines, excluding the Perris South, Perris-Downtown, Moreno Valley/March Field and Riverside-Hunter Park/UCR stations. There will be no service on the Ventura County and Riverside lines.

The $10 Holiday ticket can be purchased on the Metrolink app, or at ticket vending machines at Metrolink stations under “special ticket options.” Riders on May 27 can also purchase one-way or round-trip tickets for destinations that offer a fare less than $10. Regular weekend service and fares will apply on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26.

Metrolink’s Rail 2 Rail® program with Amtrak, which allows Metrolink Monthly Pass holders to travel on Pacific Surfliner trains within station pairs at no additional charge, will be suspended from Friday, May 24 through Tuesday, May 28. The program will resume on Wednesday, May 29.

Metrolink offers direct service to destinations such as Los Angeles Union Station, Downtown Riverside, San Clemente Pier, San Juan Capistrano and Oceanside along with easy connections to attractions such as Disneyland, Hollywood, Old Pasadena and the Santa Monica Pier. A valid Metrolink ticket allows free transfer to OCTA buses along with the Metro bus and rail system in Los Angeles County and many other transit partners.
