Oxnard: 17 Year Old Teen Arrested for Allegedly Possessing Firearm and Narotic

On July 7, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Officers from the Oxnard Police Department conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a suspicious vehicle involved in narcotic use in the 4500 block of Cloyne Street. The Officers contacted the occupants of the vehicle and discovered that a 17 year old male in the vehicle was in possession of a control substance and a loaded firearm. The juvenile was arrested for felony possession of a control substance while in possession of a firearm and other firearm related charges.  The other occupants of the vehicle were interviewed and released at the scene.
