Oxnard PAL to Host 43rd Annual National PAL Boxing Championships, Sept. 27-30 2017

This week, Oxnard PAL will host one of the largest and most prestigious amateur boxing competitions in the country, the 43rd Annual National PAL Boxing Championships. More than 300 participants are expected to compete over four days, with bouts going simultaneously in three rings each evening.  All bouts are being streamed free on-line at www.OxnardPALBoxing.com for the families unable to travel with their athlete.

The event, which includes male and female participants ages 9 to 40, offers Novice and Open level divisions, showcasing both up-and-coming and elite level boxers from Ventura County and around the country.  This year, representatives from 12 states have registered so far with more arriving Monday and Tuesday.  Current participating states include: California, Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii, Idaho, New Mexico, New York, Nevada, Ohio, South Carolina, and Utah.

**Semi-Finals / Prep and Junior Olympic Division Finals (ages 9-16)**

**Youth and Senior Division Finals (ages 17-40)**

Date: Saturday, September 30, 2017

Opening ceremonies: 5:30 PM

Bouts: 6 PM – 10 PM (all start and end times are approximate)

TICKET PRICES

General Admission: $10

Children ages 6 – 17: $5

Kids 5 and under: FREE

Ringside Seating: $20 per person
