Oxnard PD arrest Simi Valley man for Possession of loaded firearm

On July 14, 2017, Officers from the Oxnard Police Department conducted an enforcement stop on a vehicle for a vehicle code violation in the area of Channel Islands Boulevard and Cloyne Street in Oxnard. Occupants of the vehicle were on probation with search terms. As officers began to conduct a search of the vehicle, a loaded .357 revolver was located under the driver’s seat of the vehicle.
The driver, 23 year old Simi Valley resident Jesus Sosa, was arrested for possessing a loaded firearm in a vehicle. The other occupants were released at the scene.
