Quick Work by Ventura Firefighters save Home

On November 2nd at 5:55 AM,  Ventura City Fire Department responded to a reported structure in the 600 block of Adirondack Ave.  Upon arrival firefighters found trash cans burning under the eves of a single family residence.  Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the blaze but soon discovered that it had spread to the garage of the structure.  The fire was completely extinguished at 6:10am, 15 minutes after it was reported. 

The living areas of the home were not affected by the fire; the residents of the home were not displaced.

No firefighters were injured as a result of this incident.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
