Recipe of the Week: Guacamole

 

Now that things are heating up breakout that the chips and salsa and how about some — Guacamole!

 

Ingredients:

2 ripe fresh avocados, peeled and seeded

1.2 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 medium size ripe Roma tomato, seeded, diced

1/4 cup minced sweet white onion

1 Serrano Chile, seeded, minced

1/4 cup chopped cilantro leaves

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

Hot pepper sauce, sea salt, pepper to  taste

 

Directions:

Cut avocado in large chunks and mash coarsely in large bowl with a fork.

Add remaining ingredients and max gently; leaving some small chunks is okay.

Taste and adjust seasoning with more pepper sauce, salt, and pepper if desired.
