Senior to Senior: Two elderly shelter dogs visit their human counterparts

Two elderly inhabitants of Ventura County Animal Service’s (VCAS) shelter were taken for outing yesterday.  They were taken to the Camarillo Healthcare District (CHD).  There they met other seniors, the two legged variety.  Darla (A624198) and Patches (A623783) were a hit, getting pats on the head and a scratch on the back, and moreover, getting and giving needed attention to those who oft times live with little interaction.  Darla and Patches enjoyed their visit and were taken to the park afterwards by volunteers, Shanna, Jessica and Kozue.

They’re waiting for their forever homes, where they can live out their lives with somebody who will pat them on the head and scratch their back.  Why not visit them at: VCAS

If nothing else, these two dogs could have a regular job now.
