Simi Valley Police Department – Incident Press Release
On 5/24/19, at approximately 9:34 PM, Simi Valley Police Department officers responded to an address in the 1500 Block of Rory Lane, Simi Valley. The reporting party stated that her husband was intoxicated and he was destroying property in the house. Prior to arrival, it was learned that the suspect, Peter Vance, 57 yrs., had displayed a knife in a threatening manner to the victim and threatened to cut the victim with it. He then fled the scene. There were no injuries during the incident.
Upon arrival, Officers learned that Vance had fled to a residence on Brentwood St. Officers responded to the area and found Vance. He was subsequently placed under arrest for 245 PC, Assault with a Deadly Weapon. He was booked at the Ventura County Jail.
