Simi Valley Police Department – Incident Press Release
On 2/15/20 at 6:16 PM, SVPD Officers responded to Stater Brothers Market at 660 LA Avenue for a fight in progress. Officers Arrived and found that Austin Roach (20yrs) attempted to steal items from the market. The manager confronted Mr. Roach and Mr. Roach assaulted him. Several customers assisted the manager attempt to detain Roach until police arrived.
Upon contact by the officers, Mr. Roach continued to resist the officers and ignored all of their commands. A taser was used to take Mr. Roach into custody.
Mr. Roach was booked in jail for Robbery and Resisting Arrest.
