Simi Valley: Still Time to Sign Up For National Night Out

The Simi Valley Police Department invites residents throughout Simi Valley to unite on Saturday, July 22, 2017 to celebrate the 34th Anniversary of the National Night Out program. National Night Out is a yearly event bringing citizens and law enforcement members together building trust and relationships that help us keep our community safe.

The National Night Out Program models our community policing policy by creating community education and awareness that promotes crime prevention activities, police community partnerships, and sends a message to criminals that our neighborhoods are organized and fighting back against crime. It is time to get your neighbors together, host a block party, relax at a community pool, or enjoy a summer evening at your local park.

SVPD representatives, Target volunteer employees and many others will visit each block party. It will be a fun and safe evening for all.

The Block Party Permit deadline is Tuesday July, 18th, 2017 5:00 p.m.

For additional information, interested participants may visit the City of Simi Valley Website
or contact Crime Prevention Specialist Jean-Marie Maroshek , (805) 583-6276.
