    Tickets on Sale now for Camarillo July 4th Fireworks & Fun Day

    Camarillo’s 2017 Independence Day celebration will take place on Tuesday, July 4, from 4 to 9:30 p.m. at Adolfo Camarillo High School, located at 4660 Mission Oaks Blvd.  This year’s event will feature music by House Arrest and the Camarillo Community Band, kids’ activities, and food.  The evening will conclude with a special, 30-minute fireworks display that starts at 9 p.m.

    Purchase tickets now through July 3 at Camarillo City Hall (601 Carmen Drive) and the Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District office (1605 E. Burnley Street).  Both offices are open Monday–Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Admission is $2 per person; children five years old and under are admitted free.  On July 4, tickets may be purchased at Camarillo High School.  We will accept cash only at the gates, which open at 4:00 p.m.  

    Free parking and shuttles will be available at the Metrolink Station (Dawson Drive side), and the parking lot behind Technicolor located at 3233 Mission Oaks Blvd.  If entering Metrolink via Lewis Road, please use the pedestrian overpass across the railroad tracks to access the shuttle buses.  Shuttles will run every 15-minutes from 4:00 – 10:00 p.m.  

    You’re also welcome to bring your own picnic.  Seating options include both the home and visitor bleachers; lawn seating and picnic area will be available on the main football field.  Please note: This is a smoke-free event.  No alcohol, marijuana, pets, or personal fireworks are allowed; all coolers will be inspected for alcoholic beverages.

    Event sponsors include the Camarillo/Somis Pleasant Valley Lions Club, the City of Camarillo, the Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District, Oxnard Union High School District and Adolfo Camarillo High School.
