Tonight, 5-23-18 Sanctuary State is on the Camarillo City Council Agenda | Where do YOU stand?

With the United States Constitution or with lawless acts by Sacramento politicians?

By Deborah Baber Savalla

SB 54 is not an immigration issue, SB 54 serves only to protect the illegal criminal aliens. It recycles them back into the community.

If, like me, you believe politicians in Sacramento who voted FOR SB-54 essentially voted AGAINST our Constitution, the ultimate law in our land, then join me at the Camarillo City Council meeting. If you have any interest at all in the SB-54 debate in California, tonight’s Camarillo City Council meeting is for you! It promises to be bit of history-making political theater in our county backyard and you can have a front row seat!

Simi Valley adopted a position opposing SB-54 in April. Tonight, Camarillo will decide the matter. It’s on the agenda. On June 5th, Thousand Oaks will take this issue up as a discussion item.

I live in Port Hueneme. Some supporters of SB-54 call me an “outsider” (or worse) when I have spoken out at other cities’ council meetings. When it comes to SB-54, nobody residing in California is an outsider! The state imposes this dangerous and unconstitutional legislation on all California citizens and residents. Local jurisdictions that “accept” the fate without a fight are bowing to Sacramento’s Leftist, progressive agenda.  If we don’t speak up and act, then we relegate ourselves and others to continue living under Sacramento’s boot instead of being lifted by President Trump’s hand.

WHEN: Tonight, Wednesday May 23, 2018

WHERE: City Council Chambers, 601 Carmen Dr. Camarillo

TIME: 7:30 (I suggest you get there early to find parking and get a seat!)

Thank you for bringing this issue to the forefront. SB54 affects all California and not one city. It protects criminal illegal aliens at the expense of those the bill claims to protect. Keep up the good fight.

Unfortunately council opted to do nothing, wouldn’t even reiterate their previous opposing position
