Twin Brothers Arrested for T.O. Commercial Burglary

On December 18, 2017, at approximately 8:20 p.m., a reporting party notified police that two subjects just fled a closed business in the 2929 block of Theresa Drive. Deputies from the Thousand Oaks Police Department responded and found the Merry Hall Tree Thrift Shop had been burglarized. Patrol deputies conducted the initial on-scene investigation and obtained surveillance video. The surveillance video captured the burglary and provided clear images of both subjects who appeared to be twins.

Investigators from the Thousand Oaks Police Department viewed the surveillance footage and identified the suspects as Ian Fralix and Evan Fralix. Investigators recognized the twins from previous law enforcement investigations.

On 12-20-17, investigators located the Fralix brothers in the area of Wendy Drive and Old Conejo Road. The twins were with two other suspects who were later identified as Ryan Doran of Thousand Oaks and a 16 year old male juvenile also of Thousand Oaks. When investigators tried to contact the group, all four fled on foot. Investigators quickly captured the four subjects and detained them. Ian and Evan Fralix were arrested for Commercial Burglary. Ryan Doran and the male juvenile were found to have active warrants and also arrested. .

The three adults were booked into the Ventura County Jail and the juvenile was lodged into Juvenile Hall. Both Ian and Evan Fralix remain in custody awaiting trial.
