Two arrested — Stolen ‘Get Away’ vehicle recovered after shop lifting incident

On 7/7/17 at 3:20 pm, Simi Valley Police Officers responded to a radio call of a female suspect (Lindsay Kendryna , 28 year old Simi Valley resident) shoplifting in Kohl’s. While enroute to the location, officers were advised by dispatch that a stolen “get-away” vehicle was waiting outside of Kohl’s.
The driver of the stolen vehicle (Jason Donner, 35 year old Simi Valley resident) fled the location, driving southbound on Tapo Canyon Rd., with officers in pursuit. Donner abandoned the stolen vehicle in the area of Darrah Ave., and was arrested by officers nearby. Donner was charged with Vehicle Theft, Possession of a Forged/Fraudulent Identification, Felony Evading, and an outstanding arrest warrant.
The female shoplifter, Lindsay Kendryna, was arrested at Kohl’s for Shoplifting, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Heroin. Both suspects were booked at the Ventura County Main Jail, and the stolen vehicle was returned to its owner.
