    Vagrant suspect in grabbing woman at Gas Station

    Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release

    On October 29th at 2:24 PM, Ventura Police Department received a call of a 29-year-old woman who had been grabbed from behind while at a gas station. Officers arrived and learned that the victim had been vacuuming the interior of her vehicle when she felt a man, later identified as Seth Dees (4/27/79) – Vagrant, grab her from behind and touch her hips and buttocks. Dees was not known to the victim. His actions were unsolicited and took the victim by surprise. Officers located Dees near where the crime occurred and arrested him for sexual battery. The victim in this case was not injured.

    Dees has a lengthy criminal history. A review of the Ventura County Superior Court public records website revealed Dees has prior over 25 arrests since 2004. The arrests include but are limited to Criminal Threats, Possession of a Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Concealed Dirk or Dagger, Resisting Arrest, Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Vehicle Tampering, Trespassing, Engaging in Lewd Conduct, and Aggravated Trespassing.
