Ormond Beach Villas Groundbreaking


Ormond Beach Villas is a new construction development consisting of five (5) three-story buildings, totaling 40-units. The site is 1.81 acres and is currently vacant. Located on Saviers Rd. near Hueneme Rd. in Oxnard, the site is within walking distance to Southwinds Park, Art Haycox Elementary School, Perkins/Hueneme Bus Stop and Clinicas Maravilla. The site is also 1.5 miles from the Naval Construction Battalion Center in Port Hueneme. 
There will be 8-units reserved for chronically homeless veterans, 10-units for homeless veterans with a disability, and 21-units will be reserved for low- and very-low income veteran families. There will be 15 one-bedrooms (743-835 sq.ft), 20 two-bedrooms (1,033 sq.ft) and 5 three-bedrooms (1,233 sq.ft). Each unit will have a separate ground level garage, on-site storage, and a spacious patio/balcony. Site amenities include a community room, manager’s office, on-site laundry room, playground, and a central courtyard with a picnic/bbq. LA Family Housing will provide the veteran specific services to the residents and Many Mansions will be providing the children and family services.
