Ventura | Two Oxnard Residents arrested — Suspects in Car Theft

Stolen Vehicle, Possession of Burglary Tools, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of a Billy club Arrest

On June 21st at 11:50PM, a Ventura Police Department Patrol officer saw a suspicious vehicle driving with no headlights on Eastman Ave. The officer conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle on Ortega St. The car turned out to be a stolen vehicle from the city of Oxnard. The driver, Cinthya Magana-Gomez, had in her possession a methamphetamine pipe and burglary tools. She was arrested and booked at the Ventura County Jail for driving a stolen vehicle, possession of burglary tools and possession of narcotics paraphernalia.

The passenger in the vehicle, Maria Navarrete, had an illegal weapon in her possession. Navarrete was arrested and booked at the Ventura County Jail for possession of a Billy club.
