Ventura Vagrant threatens two teens – Steals Pizza

Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release  On April 12th at 5 PM the Ventura Police Command Center received a call from the victims of an assault. As officers arrived on scene they discovered that the two victim juvenile females had just ordered pizza and were sitting down to eat it, when the suspect Joan Triplett 61 years, a Ventura Vagrant, approached them. While standing next to the victims Triplett asked them for some pizza. Before they could answer Triplett grabbed a slice of pizza out of the hand of one of the victims and then placed a lit cigarette up to the victim’s face almost touching it. After removing the cigarette and putting it back in to her mouth, Triplett grabbed two more pieces of pizza and walked away.

As Triplett was leaving she stopped, turned around and started to yell at the two victims. Causing the victims, who were in fear of their safety, to call the police. While the officers continued to conduct their investigation they located Triplett who was positively identified by the victims. Triplett was taken into custody without incident and booked into Ventura County Jail for Robbery and Child Endangerment.
