Wanted subject arrested for possession of Sawed-off shotgun in Santa Paula

On Sunday July 10th, 2016 at 12:39am officers were conducting a routine patrol of the parking lot of Circle K, 55 Hallock Drive. 

The officer noticed a wanted subject,  Christopher Sigala age 25 of Santa Paula, sitting in a black Honda Accord in the parking lot.  When officers contacted Sigala in plain view in the back seat was a loaded 12-guage shotgun with a sawed off barrel.  Sigala was taken into custody without incident for the following charges he was wanted on: robbery, conspiracy, gang enhancements, destroying evidence, battery.  Sigala was booked on the following fresh charges: convicted felon in possession of a firearm, convicted felon in possession of ammunition, carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle, and possession of a short barrel shotgun..   

Sigala was transported to SPPD for processing and later to Ventura County Main Jail where he is being held on $150,000 bail.

    A great example of removing undesirable people with their illegal firearms instead of broad brushing the firearms issue to include those who are law abiding.
