Oxnard Police Department – Incident Press Release
On May 3, 2020 at approximately 7:18 P.M., officers from the Oxnard Police Department were dispatched to the west alley of the 2100 block of Mariposa Street, in reference to a shooting. When officers arrived, they located evidence of a shooting however, all involved parties had fled the area. A short time later, an 18-year-old male shooting victim arrived at an area hospital with a gunshot wound to his upper body. He is currently listed in stable condition. Investigators from the Oxnard Police Department Violent Crimes Unit responded to the scene to assist with the investigation. The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
