22nd Annual YMCA National Day of Prayer Breakfast Will Be Online May 6th

Thousand Oaks, Calif—Spiritual and community leaders will be part of the virtual Southeast Ventura County YMCA National Day of Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, May 6. This is the 22nd year the YMCA has hosted the Prayer Breakfast and the second year it has been held virtually because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speakers and performers will provide inspirational messages and song during the 40-minute program. Our keynote speaker this year is Dr. Gary Dickey, Retired Pastor of United Methodist Church, Chaplain of United States Air Force Auxiliary and Deputy Chaplain of California Civil Air Patrol.

    Prayer Breakfast sponsors include:
    Platinum Level: New Hope Lutheran
Gold Level: Bruce Blumenthal, Dan Cimino, Bill Gray
Silver Level: Jerry Adams, Congregational Church of the Chimes, Inc., Judy Lazar
Bronze Level: John and Karen Bradley, Joe Cabral, Fred Dunn, Felix Masci

Each year, the Southeast Ventura County YMCA National Day of Prayer Breakfast typically attracts more than 350 attendees to Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks. “While we can’t meet in person, we know our online gathering will be meaningful and uplifting to all those who take part and we look forward to resuming live events next year,” states Ronnie Stone, CEO/President, Southeast Ventura County YMCA.

This free event will be recorded and available to view starting at 6am on Thursday, May 6, at www.sevymca.org/dayofprayer. It will be rebroadcast throughout the day.
