A Weekend of Sizzling Music, Dance & Food
Oxnard, Calif.—Those who love to groove to hot Latin sounds and indulge in spicy culinary flavors won’t want to miss the 27th Annual Oxnard Salsa Festival. The festival, July 25 and 26, is packed with all things salsa–the food, music and dance. It takes place at Plaza Park (Fifth and “B” streets) in historic downtown Oxnard from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. both days. Festivalgoers can dance to live salsa bands (and take salsa dance lessons too). The two days also feature a vendor marketplace, a salsa tasting tent, international cuisine and a kids’ fun zone. A salsa recipe challenge and salsa dance contest are part of the fun. Presented by the Oxnard Downtowners, the festival attracts salsa lovers throughout southern California.
