A community paper shred event will be held at the Camarillo Community Center on Saturday, June 2, from 8 a.m. to noon. The Community Center is located just north of City Hall, at 1605 Burnley Street (intersection at Carmen Drive). The event is hosted by the Camarillo Council on Aging, and sponsored by the City of Camarillo and Access Services.

The cost is $5 per vehicle (cash only). A maximum of 10 boxes (15” x 12” x 9”), or 12 grocery bags of documents per vehicle may be shredded. Please note that while the event is scheduled to last until noon, when the trucks are full the collection will stop.
The paper-shredding event is open to all Camarillo residents and businesses. Staff and signage will direct participants where to enter the Community Center parking lot from Burnley Street. Vehicles will not be allowed to queue up prior to 8 a.m.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Camarillo Council on Aging, which supports senior education and needs.
