This documentary is the story of passionate seed savers protecting our 12,000-year-old food legacy. In the last century, 94% of the worlds seed varieties have disappeared. This is the story of farmers, scientists, lawyers and indigenous seed keepers fight a David and Goliath battle to defend the future of our food. It is a heartening story of these heroes rekindling a lost connection with our culture and seeds.
Dr. David White, Ph D in Medicine, cofounder and Executive Director of Ojai’s Center for Regenerative Agriculture will facilitate the discussion after the screening.
