The Simi Valley Police Department would like to remind residents throughout Simi Valley to unite on Saturday, July 28, 2018 to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the National Night Out program. National Night Out is a national yearly event bringing citizens and law enforcement members together building trust and relationships that keep our community safe. Promoting police community partnerships sends a message to criminals our neighborhoods are organized and fighting back against crime.
It is time to get your neighbors together, host a block party, relax at a community pool, or enjoy a summer evening at your local park. SVPD representatives, Target volunteer employees and many others will visit each block party. It will be a fun and safe evening for all.
This year’s event is bigger than years before. Is your block registered to participate? The opportunities to interact with our community are powerful – and it is all due t o this national program.
The deadline to have your National Night Out Block Party Permit is extended to Wednesday, July 25th, 2018. (NNO Block Party Fees are waived)
