This is a comedy-drama about love, dreams and guilt, a recipe for another Tony Award cooked up by the master, Neil Simon. Set in Hollywood, a struggling screenwriter is stupefied by a visit from his daughter from Brooklyn whom he abandoned 16 years before. She wants to be in pictures and wants his help, but she ends up helping him more.
