Whereas, the incompetence and negligence of the Santa Barbara County Elections Office to print and mail my candidate ballot statement for Carpinteria City Council in a timely manner before balloting has already begun, thus depriving early voters of the benefit of that statement;
Whereas, I paid $ 800.00 to the Santa Barbara Elections Office to print and mail my candidate ballot statement to the Carpinteria City Council;
Whereas, I’m not the only candidate on the 2020 ballot that paid for, but did not receive, ballot statement printing and timely mailing services of our ballot statements contracted with the Santa Barbara County Elections Office;
Here are my Carpinteria priorities when elected to City Council:
100% Support Carpinteria Police, Fire, and First Responders
100% Support Carpinteria Full Economic Re-Opening with Linden Ave Promenade
100% Support Carpinteria Economic Development and Jobs Recovery
100% Support Carpinteria Safe, Clean Agribusiness Development
100% Support Carpinteria ‘Gig’ workers: Uber, Lyft, Tutors, Artists
100% Support Carpinteria Charter Schools and Homeschools
100% Support Carpinteria Individual Private Healthcare Choice
100% Support Carpinteria Freedom to Express or Not Express Religion
100% Oppose Any Increased Taxes
100% Oppose ‘one-size-fits-all’ COVID-19 Lockdown Orders
100% Oppose Anti-American Indoctrination in tax funded schools
100% Oppose defunding Law Enforcement Officers
100% Oppose Job Killing City Regulations
100% Oppose Compulsory Union Membership to Get a Job
100% Oppose Setting Ethnic, and Religious Quotas for Hiring or School Admission
100% Oppose Any Efforts Dismantle or Destroy Carpinteria Traditional values
