Sheriff Bill Ayub is pleased to announce the graduation of the Ventura County Criminal Justice Training Center’s Academy Class # 2020-1. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions and current safety precautions; the graduation ceremony will be closed to the recruits’ family and friends as well as the public. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office event will be live streamed and can be watched by any member of the public by logging onto the Ventura County Sheriff’s Facebook website https://www.facebook.com/VenturaCountySheriff/ The event will be a public post, meaning that even if you don’t have a Facebook account you can still view it.
The recruits have completed 24 weeks of instruction provided through the combined efforts of local law enforcement agencies and other criminal justice entities. The intense training and education prepares recruits for the responsibilities of serving their communities as peace officers.
