Date/Time: Wednesday, December 13, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Teaching Artist: Andi Meyer Cost: $40 per person Preregistration required Explore fiber arts during this all-new Tapestry Weaving workshop inside SPAM’s Cole Creativity Center! On Wednesday, December 13, 2023, join teaching artist Andi Meyer from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and learn to use techniques in plain weaving, utilizing small tapestry needles to create your own landscape tapestry! This class is appropriate for everyone ages 16 and over. The cost of the class is $40.00 per person. All skill levels are welcome and all supplies are provided. Preregistration is required. The class will be held inside the Cole Creativity Center, located at 123 N 10th St, Santa Paula, CA. About Our Teaching Artist: Andi Meyer has been creating art for over 25 years. Her work consists primarily of 3D fiber artwork, such as spinning yarn, felting, crocheting, knitting, and weaving. Mom to an eight-year-old artist (and several fur babies), Andi works as a special education teacher. Although she has received a BA in Art & Psychology and her MA in Education, her love for learning new techniques and skills has never faded away. |
