The discussion will be moderated by KVTA radio host Lyn Fairly. Confirmed panelists include P. Scott Corbett, PhD, CSU Channel Islands History Lecturer; Larry Hawley, local Vietnam veteran; Janet Richards, Vietnam veteran and former military nurse; and Captain Charlie Plumb, USN, (Ret.), former six-year Prisoner of War in Vietnam. The program includes an audience Q&A period. Refreshments will be served after the program, and panelists will be available for follow-on conversations.
The City of Camarillo is a Commemorative Partner in the Department of Defense Vietnam War 50th Commemoration program, and this event is the fifth in a series of six events to honor Camarillo-area veterans who served during the Vietnam War period.
