RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE AT THE REAGAN LIBRARY

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum is pleased to announce it will host an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. This marks the eighth consecutive year the Reagan Library has hosted blood drives on its campus, and its 19th blood drive! Since its first blood drive in 2013, the Reagan Library has collected over 900 units of blood for the Red Cross. Sign up today and help us save hundreds more lives! To ensure our donor’s safety during COVID19, the following procedures have been put in place by the Red Cross:
- All staff, volunteers and donors will have their temperatures taken. If any temperature is greater than 99.5 they will not be able to donate or work.
- Staff and volunteers will wear gloves
- All staff, volunteers and donors are required to wear a facemask.
- Hand sanitizer will be available at check-in and other areas
- Blood donors will be required to use hand sanitizer prior to donating
- Donor beds will be sanitized between every donor
- Social distancing will be enforced.

All presenting donors at the Reagan Library on July 1st will receive a coupon for one free admission into the Reagan Library and Museum once we re-open.

With COVID19 restrictions changing the way our nation celebrates, this year the Reagan Foundation is offering a virtual 4th of July celebration. The two-hour virtual program includes monologues from Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Mary Todd Lincoln and Ben Franklin. Betsy Ross will share lessons and fun facts about the American Flag. Musical performances include the “National Anthem” and “God Bless America.” We will also have fun family activities you can download right from our website and even our first ever Independence Day Costume Contest! |
